Cricket Dream

I was
dreaming
very vividly
of playing
serious cricket,
wickedly,
wearing white
and suddenly
finding myself
run right
out, no score.
It was not
a pleasant
dream at all.
So I don’t dream
of cricket
anymore.
How’s that?
Cricket seemed
for me
bad luck,
no score,
I was out,
out for a
duck!
